It's Pyewacket's day at the beach...
maggie and milly and molly and may
went down to the beach (to play one day)
and maggie discovered a shell that sang
so sweetly she couldn't remember her troubles, and
milly befriended a stranded star
whose rays five languid fingers were;
and molly was chased by a horrible thing
which raced sideways while blowing bubbles:and
may came home with a smooth round stone
as small as a world and as large as alone.
for whatever we lose (like a you or a me)
it's always ourselves we find in the sea

Lovely Pye! :) Fabulous extraction!
It's your turn to go to the beach now pye. Better make the most of it while the weather lasts.
Love e.e. cummings. No need for capitals.
That's so graceful Pye, like a Jelly Fish! Those dancing starfish are kinda chasing you, Pye!
What a great place to stretch out!
lovely Pye! Great poem :-) x
Pye you look lovely skimming over the water with the dancing jellyfish.
What "HOLIDAYS!!!!"?
SS is up to her eyebrows with work - trying to submit her thesis by end of May - that she doesn't know the time of day. Lucky she still remembers to feed me. The place is in a mess and we are eating the same things all the time. *sigh*
Nice stretchie!
