Interesting evening at our house. 12.20am, Alessandro came into my room to get me, and woke me up and scared me, and when I yelled, he yelled. Trixie, our big, squishy black and white cat had a big huntsman bailed up.
While I was getting up, he came back in to hand me the squirming Siamese. We met in the darkened doorway and when I shrieked, he shrieked too, because we both scared each other. One should never try holding a squirming siamese, with no shirt on, while shrieking. He was very good, he didn't drop her, he placed her on the ground.
Ok, I very bravely went into the room next to the study where the spider was. Trixie was jumping up and down and stomping on it. Sumo wrestler style. THUMP! KAPOW! It was like a Batman movie. Holy cat whiskers!
So Alessandro is shrieking and waving a Baygon can, I am cowering and waving a Baygon can. The other two cats are cheering Trixie on and saying they would do it themselves, but really, as she is so good at it...
It was all over in a minute. Before he could get the cap off the can, I think the thing died of fright. Just as well. It picked the wrong house to wander into.

Gizzy quilt for topcatrules

Pyewacket got a gizzy quilt from the US for Christmas. It was designed and hand made especially for her. She loves it!
