Zoolatry color my world

Bundling with Baby Mao and Yao-lin

Baby Mao, I love snuggling up to the two of you! I will sit really still, so I don't bug your big brother. Do you think he would like it if I washed his face?

Actually, I don't wash anybody's face - I just headbutt people real hard until they wash mine

What in tarnation is that awful noise?

What is Pyewacket staring out the window for? And who is she yelling at?

"Guys! Guys! Wait up!"

Why is Trixie trying to get out the front door?

Girls! Come back! You can't play thundering herd of elephants until all the toy mice are picked up.

Trixie - why is she special?

How do we love her? Let us count the ways. :)

Trixie turned four recently. She arrived from the shelter for Alessandro's thirteenth birthday. Everyone told us to segregate her from the other two cats, Tigger and precious Persia (RIP) in case they caused a problem with her. Yes, but nobody told Trixie. She walked in and told everybody what for.

She has the personality of a little girl and acts like one, aged about three. Her collars are always pale pink. She is very feminine, talks in a rusty squeak and is very curious about everything in the house. She has lost three of her nine lives, one by crawling up into the roof after a kitchen renovation then having to be coaxed down way over on the the other side of the house, out of the laundry manhole.

Another time she fell off the back of fridge one night after sleeping on top of it and got wedged. She slept there all night and although I was in the kitchen at 6am getting a cup of tea, she didn't wake up and tell me she was stuck back there for another two hours.

I won't talk about the third time, let's just thank God for the elastic in her collar with the name tag attached.

She is really top cat - but then, that's what they all say!

Here are some kitten pictures from when she was new. Playing pool, then listening to words of wisdom from Tigger.

We are wishing for whirled peas

Me and my boy are having some "us" time before the family present opening.

Here we are with my Rudolf stocking. It sings and jingles its bells. And I got a scratchit and I won $5! Oh and I got a new collar 'cause the other one shrank in the wash or something. This one was the only one in the store that would fit me, it's for cats with the giant gene apparently. Or maybe the super model gene.

Oh, look what I got! It's all for me! Mom put it in front of the screen door so I could look for birds in the tree outside.

I have a stocking!

And it's all for me! I wonder what's in it!

A day without Zoolatry... by the students

A day without Zoolatry would be like a grey meat eating shark not in the ocean, the blazing hot sun that has fallen from the sky, Pluto lost from the orbit of the Sun or Ms S without her grey laptop.

A day without Zoolatry would be like a day without beautiful sunshine, no extremely awesome pictures, nothing to do really important work from and no funny cat rivalry.

A day without Zoolatry would be like a boring day with a lot of chaos, not a single laugh around the world, ten times less fun, and the world would probably turn upside down.

A day without Zoolatry would be like a very long day, the most boring day until my head explodes! A lousy, old day. Just the usual, for me!

A day without Zoolatry would be like... a picture in a museum with no frame, lights on a Christmas tree that don't light up, muddy boots on your clean bed sheets, and your birthday presents opened by your little sister!

Christmas is coming!

Look what I got my mother from ebay for Christmas! I'm a GOOD Siamese kitten!

I know she was happy with the free grey bag that came with a projector at school but this one will be cool for her to use at school next year and to take to Italy next April.

Um, do you think that because I got her this that she will let me have a pony??

Photo Hunt "Small"

I'm still small, I'm only ten months old now. This was me at three months.

But I can't believe Trixie was ever this size! Here she is, listening to words of wisdom from the wise woman - Tigger.

On our first fruitbat Friday

We went out looking at Christmas lights...

Thankful on Thursday

For meeting the lovely Zoolatry gang, Ann, Zoey and Maggy - they inspire us and keep us interested in creating and teaching aspects of photography.

Merry Christmas to all in the Cat Blogosphere from the topcatrules gang (Trixie, Pyewacket and Tigger) thanks to Zoolatry.

Hooray for Hollywood!

The topcatrules gang, from Australia, arrived in Hollywood this morning, and went for a ride in a cool Lamborghini up Rodeo Drive to do some sightseeing, before the drive up to Hearst Castle.

Hooray for Hollywood!
Where you're terrific
if you're even good!

Come on and try your luck
You could be Donald Duck
Hooray for Hollywood!

Merry Christmas

Click on the shark and it follows the curser - then try the the killer whale or the dolphin.

The party's at Parker's!

Knock, knock - guess who's here?

It's the Oz girls - from left, Trixie, Pyewacket and Tigger.

We even had a driver for the occasion! Alessandro and Dragan played pool together in a competition last night, and Alessandro won $100! So to celebrate, Dragan let Alessandro teleport the pink BMW over to Ohio for the party.

S-T-R-E-T-C-H Photo Hunt Long

Um, it's MY couch and I don't really want to share it...

Can someone lift me up?

I want it! It's shiny!

Convict fish need to live INSIDE a fish tank

See this convict fish? Trixie caught one once and had it for a whole day before it was discovered. Um, it didn't do very well. And Giancarlo was VERY cross as it was his. Moral of story, never turn your back on a cat if the lid is up on the fishtank.
